His mouth quirked into a bemused smile at her laughter, and rucked higher into a smirk on 'we have all day'.

Giving in to her point, his hand didn't loosen, but stayed tight and pulled her against him when she ground down. The other reached up to wrap around the back of her neck and pull her down to him for a deep and heated kiss.

Go with it, yes.

Oh. Oh, that changed the angles didn't it? In a very, very good way, though she got less gravity assist now...

....eh, she'd deal.

She growled into the kiss and fought the hand on her hip so she could set up a harsh, rocking motion. Foreplay? No, she was really, really good at the full physical aspect though!

He took in a sharp breath of air through his nose at the change in angle. Feeling her fighting him, he surrendered the grip on her waist, lifting his hand up to cup and massage her breast instead.

This wasn't the best angle to work from, but he did what he could to give as good as she, meeting her rocking with deep thrusts. A coil in his belly was winding tight and fast, her frantic motions feeding it like gasoline on a bonfire.

No, it wasn't the best position for what they both seemed to want but this time, for now, it would work. Yes, it would certainly work.

She bit his lip again when he started kneading her breast, the additional stimulus making her cry out and her building rhythm hitch a moment. Hmmm, a slight adjustment, her arms braced on either side of him so she could support herself and there, right there. That was a wonderful angle.

He grunted, but kept on doing what he was doing to her. His foot slid on the tile, going for a change as well, but when she hit on the angle she found he stopped, not wanting to change a damn thing.

His heart was racing hard in his chest, and he was on a razors edge, but couldn't give in. Not yet. Kissing her once more, he broke his lips from hers and slid his cheek against hers to grate low in her ear.

"Do it, Clarice, come for me."

Somehow her smile stretched just a bit wider to hear that note in his voice, a sharp edge coming into it even. To be wanted? Oh yeah, that helped.

"Yes sir sheriff.." She'd love to honestly.

Another small adjustment and she transferred one hand to his shoulder, nails digging in as she cried out again. "Now Bill!" Now what? That was up to him!

That 'sir' and 'sheriff' delivered a sharp thrill, and he almost smirked but couldn't quite manage it. Instead his eyes slid shut, and his hips snapped up, responding to the 'Now' by driving himself into her hard, and deep.

He'd asked her, but it was he who complied when commanded, finding his release and falling apart while buried to the hilt inside her; hoping she'd tumble over the edge with him.

She'd been on the shivering brink when she called on him, and that last forceful probe was exactly what she wanted honestly. She screamed, seizing and clamping around him sweet, sweet triumph.

She was just going to dwell in the moment until she came to stretched across his chest alright?

Feeling her tighten around him caused him to buck again, shoulder blades leaving the tile with the force of it, hand gripping her leg hard.

Finally relaxing out, he sunk back onto the tile with a tired, stuttered sigh.

When she eased down on top of him his arms went around her, his chest heaving as he tried to calm his breathing and regather his shattered senses.

"Wow."

"Mmmm," he was managing verbal better than she was right now? So, until her tongue returned to her she kissed his shoulder and smiled.

Smiled a lot.

Eventually though..."If I'd have known we'd have this much fun I'd have jumped you sooner."

Word. He managed that, but couldn't quite do the opening his eyes or movement thing.

Finally he drew himself together enough to look at her, and returned the smile.

"Figured I was borin' in the sack, huh?" He chuckled, and smoothed his palm slowly across her back.

She arched slowly under his hand like a content cat and...thought about that. "No," she admitted at last. "I thought you'd be great, but..."

But.

"...but maybe guilty. Or you'd decide half way in that you really did want someone else. I don't do well as the 'other woman', and I don't know what the social stigma on sleeping with the guy you might work for is. There were a lot of factors I didn't know that I didn't want you to be worried by."

His hand stilled for half a beat, then continued with its motions while he listened to her words.

Yeah... he hadn't really thought about much before getting into this. It happened so fast, from the kiss last night to here on the floor now, repercussions hadn't really come up.

It wasn't that he regretted it, he liked her, and more, she liked him so what was to regret? But now it became a question of, what do they do from here?

A shadow of guilt did cross his features, and he pressed a kiss to her temple in apology for it and his lack of forethought. Because yeah, this could get awkward in a lot of ways.

"I ain't changed my mind about you. I like you, an' I'm kinda over the moon here that you're givin' me a shot. But... "

He really hated to add that but, and showed it with a slight frown.

"There might be some parts of this I shoulda thought about before."

"So here's what I think..." she mused quietly. "Doc wants to clear me for work next week, so I get a job not at the precinct." She kissed him just to show she wasn't trying to dodge him or anything...

"Then you're not my boss and we dodge that. Mean spirited people are always going to say I'm taking advantage, or you are because I live here, but we can't do much about that. You have more good people than bad in this town and the good ones will know better." She might have thought a little bit about this? A little?

Hard not to when she got so worked up and annoyed over Starla. Nothing like someone like that to get a girl listing in her head why she's a better option!

"And this was good. This was very good Bill. No matter what else? You have my standing and open invitation. I like random sex, and if you come home in a mood to bend me over a table, or you want to play with handcuffs, or we're walking down a hall and you just want to pin me? I'm good for that." Granted she'd do the same in kind but!

He was braced for a reaction, certain what he'd just said had come out all sorts of wrong. Hearing what she had to say in reply surprised him, and it made him smile.

It was clear that she had given this some thought, and it showed him that she wanted to make this work. (It also quieted the small fear he had that this was just a pity lay or something.)

Heartened, he nodded.

"We could work it that way, if that's what you wanted. I don't care none what folks have t'say 'bout me, but, y'know how I feel when they start talkin' 'bout you." It made him a rather unhappy (and violent) man is what it did.

His smile turned into a slow grin, and he couldn't agree more with how good this had been.

"I'm sure I'll be takin' you up on that." And won't mind her doing the same at all.

She didn't do pity lays! The occasional "oh God we're both going to die' lays but not pity!

And...she wanted it to work as long as she was here honestly. She liked him, therefore part of her thought processes were geared toward making sure he was happy!

"I'll start asking around, seeing who might be hiring." She didn't need much. She'd be happy to work bagging or such a the grocery even. She just wasn't comfortable relying on Bill's money indefinitely! "Then you can help me figure out the best options?" He knew the people and would know who was better to work for!

"And you'd better! I'll start feeling weird if I'm the only one jumping her lover! Imagine the scandal! Me the sex fiend, you the guy I pounce will-he nil-he..." Yes, she was teasing.

"Alright. An' I'll be happy t'serve as a reference." He smiled. He would sure miss having her at the station, but that would just mean side trips to wherever she ended up.

He'd have his fingers crossed for somewhere with food.

The laugh her last comment caused made his chest rumble, and he grinned at her.

"I dunno if I'd mind bein' that guy so much." There were certainly worse fates.

"Right, references..." she chuckled and bit his shoulder gently (it was there!). "Doc probably wouldn't mind being one as well." Hopefully, in case she needed more than one!

"I'd mind!" she snorted. "I like being jumped myself sometimes! I like not always knowing what's going on and finding out that you have specific plans for me!" It was exciting and fun to not always be in control! "And I'm sure a wily mind like yours has some ideas hmmm?"

"Wily?" He chuckled. "Hmm... I might." His smirk said he did, and that she'd have to wait and see.

"Right now, though, I think we probably outta start thinkin' 'bout gettin' up."

He hated to move, really, but he was lying wet and naked on the bathroom floor, not the most comfortable position to be in.

"Wily," she agreed cheerfully. "Capable of immense thought and planning despite the affable, cheerful demeanor! Wily!" Oh, man, moving?

She was comfortable!

"Hmmm, and should probably eat..." now that the aspirin and the hormones had helped take the edge off the hang over. Alright, moving.

She sighed and slowly sat up then...sighed happily. He was still buried to the hilt after all and her body was a liiiiittle sensitive right now. Moving against him at all at the moment felt good.

"Y'might be on to me." He smirked, with more than a touch of mischief in it.

Pushing a few strands back over her shoulder, he nodded.

"I could eat." A horse, after all this.

He sucked in a sharp breath when she moved, a tremble running down his spine. Ohhhh, sensitive indeed, and tingly.

"Lord, might be rethinkin' the getting up thing... " Because this still felt damn good.

"Mmmmm," she noted with a grin and a slight shift backward. All the better to grind and rub a little...

...but...

..."You're on the bathroom floor lover." Which wasn't that comfortable was it? Nice as it felt, fun as it had been..."Maybe the next round should be in the kitchen?"

"Oh, right. It is gettin' a bit cold down here," he admitted with a chagrined smile. Bath water didn't stay very warm once it left the tub.

With a chuckle, he squeezed her thigh lightly and nodded.

"I am pretty hungry."

She smiled down at him and...gathered the will power to move. Yep. This involved carefully sliding both her knees up on either side of hips so she could brace and raise herself slowwwwwwwly off him. The sensations alone made her knees shake and drew another soft moan from her lips but eventually she managed.

From there it was just a matter of standing up entirely and offering a hand to Bill. "Good as you look down there...yeah, food."

He gave his own soft groan as she rose and he slipped free.

Taking in a slow breath, he accepted her hand and pulled himself to his feet.

Grabbing a pair of towels off of the rack, he offered one to her.

"How's the bruisin'?" That was some pretty strenuous activity they just took part in, with her doing a lot of the work.
