He couldn't help it, he barked a laugh to that. It made the pounding in his head flair up, but her reaction struck him as funny.

Bill was a believer in the hangover cure, which in his mind meant biscuits and gravy. He knew she didn't like them, though, and had thought he was being nice by leaving her options open by just offering breakfast.

She was a 'no food at all' after a long night kind of person, though, which was good to know. Water and aspirin it would be.

"Go ahead an' stay here, I'll go an' get it."
