"I did that once. Watched 'im grow his little legs an' lose the tail. Pretty neat stuff for a kid."
He wiggled two fingers to indicate legs. This time when he went for the whiskey he returned to using the cup; pouring some out and only sipping at it.
"He probably is. His wife passed awhile back, an' the two of 'em never had any kids, so it's just him now."
